Listen up Tigers; Here are your announcements for today. 

The last Crochet & Craft Club meeting of the school year is today. Meet in Mrs. O'Brien's room 718 from 4:00 to 5:15. Don't forget your finished work and works in progress to show your fellow crocheters and crafters! 

Choir students in Canto Cats and Grace Notes are reminded they are required to report to the commons during Excel today for a required concert rehearsal. Choir students in Saber Singers and G Clefs are reminded they are required to report to the commons during Excel on Wednesday for a required concert rehearsal. All choir students will need to wear their choir t-shirt, blue jeans (boys) or black leggings (girls), and closed-toe shoes and report to their designated warm up areas at 6:30pm on Wednesday to get ready for the concert. All students and staff are invited to attend the GMS Sping Choir Concert which will be in the GMS Commons at 7:00pm on Wednesday. 

Hey Tigers!  All library books are due this Friday, May 16.   If you have them here at school, please return them to the library this week.  If you have them at home, please remember to bring them to the library by Friday. 

Wednesday Open Gyms in May for: 6th grade girls-volleyball and basketball in the big gym, 7th-8th grade girls basketball in the small gym 4-5pm. Come work on your skills and go into the summer warmed up! 

The GMS Quiz Bowl A and B teams competed in the Quiz Bowl National Championship tournament in Chicago this weekend. The tournament brought together the top 160 teams from around the country and a few international teams. Both teams competed well with the A team of Logan C., Connor E., Heath D. and Katherine H. finishing 68th in the country and the B Team of Jude A., Sean W., Milo L., Ajax D., and Luke W. finishing 33rd in the country. The B-team’s finish, ties GMS’s highest finish at Nationals ever. Great job Quiz Bowl!
