In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, today we feature Sandra Cisneros - Mexican American writer, poet, essayist. Her work centers around activism and Latinx culture, including her celebrated story, The House on Mango Street. 

The 8th grade A Football team defeated the Bailey Bears by a score of 35-0. Townes M. threw for 4 touchdowns. Race H. caught two of the scores while Harry H. and Cruz M. had one apiece. Jeremiah Y. ran for a touchdown and Connor H. ran in a two. 

Reminder that esports practices and games are today for Chess and Mario Kart. All team members please come to room 703 after school. 

Support your girls volleyball teams!  C teams will be playing in an inter squad game on Wednesday, September 24th while your A and B teams will be taking on Paredes on Thursday, September 25th.  8th grade will host at home while 7th grade travels to Paredes.  Both 7th and 8th grade A teams remain #1 in our zone.  Go Lady Tigers!
