Hey Tigers! Today is Day 4 of Red Ribbon Week, and PALS want to talk to you about vaping and e-cigarettes. 14% of middle school students have tried vaping or smoking. Our brains are still growing, so exposure to nicotine - which is found in most vapes and e-cigarettes - can hurt that growth! Vaping can also lead to increased blood pressure, rapid heart beat, and other heart-related issues. So put down the vape pen and chew some gum instead! Better yet - don't start in the first place! Tomorrow is the last day of Love Your Brain Week! Wear your Halloween costume to show your commitment to setting healthy ghouls for yourself! PLEASE REMEMBER: no masks, full-face paint, weapons or anything that promotes violence are allowed.
Attention all students: FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will hold our next Huddle this Friday morning. Huddles will be every Friday morning, unless noted otherwise, in the small gym from 7:40-8:10am. Those attending need to enter the small gym through the doors near the outside basketball courts. Come join us for fellowship, food, and fun. Remember, FCA is not just for athletes. All are welcome!
