As we continue celebrating African American Heritage Month today, we honor Oprah Winfrey, the "Queen of All Media." Born into poverty in Mississippi, Oprah used the power of education and her unique voice to change the world. She was the first Black woman to own and produce her own nationally syndicated talk show.   She has donated over $25 million to Morehouse College to support student scholarships and founded a world-class leadership academy for girls. In 2013, Ms. Winfrey received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the U.S., for her work in media and philanthropy.   Oprah’s message to students is simple: "Don't put a ceiling on yourself." Use your voice to lift others up today!
