Hey Tigers! Here is today’s Red Ribbon Week fact - Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is very powerful. It only takes a tiny amount to cause an accidental overdose, and it can easily be mixed into other drugs. According to the most recent statistics from the Texas Department of State Health Services, there were 1,672 fentanyl-related deaths in Texas in 2021. By Just Saying No to all drugs, you can make sure you are keeping yourself safe from the harmful and potentially fatal effects of fentanyl.
